First and foremost, thank you for your continuing commitment to the ASCC (Asian Control Conference) series, and for sharing your research results with the Asian Control Community and the Asian Control Association, and thank you for participating in the 14^th ASCC(ASCC 2024). Without your contributions there is no ASCC.

ASCC has a history of just 30 years. The first ASCC was hold in Tokyo in 1994.  The aim of ASCC is to bring together professors, researchers and students worldwide to share their recent findings and discuss the state-of-the-art technologies related to control, automation, artificial intelligence, robotics and systems. The program of ASCC 2024 includes plenary speeches, tutorials, invited sessions and technical sessions.

The planning for ASCC 2024 has taken 24 months and required a great deal of effort from the Asian Control Association and the Steering Committee. We successfully obtained technical sponsorship from other control organizations, including Technical Committee on Control Theory of CAA, Chinese Automation Association (CAA), IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS), International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), and IEEE SMC Society Dalian Chapter.

Dalian is one of the most attractive cities and a major metropolis in China. The city is situated at the tip of Liaodong Peninsular in the north-east China, a very beautiful harbor with a long coast. It is a trading and financial center in northeastern Asia, honored as a Pearl of the North China & a City of Romance.
