Scope:From Star Wars to Ender's Game, science fiction stories have captivated audiences worldwide with their imaginative portrayals of a future filled with advanced technology and innovative approaches to education. These tales often explore themes such as mentorship, self-discovery, the balance between good and evil, the use of artificial intelligence, space exploration, education in virtual reality environments, human consciousness and ethical considerations, and the potential dangers of advanced technology. As we often enjoy science fiction stories solely for their entertainment value, we rarely consider the real-world events that inspire them. This raises the question of whether reality or fiction comes first and which one inspires the creation of the other. The International Learning and Technology Conference L&T recognizes the significance of this topic and invites researchers to submit original research papers that examine the potential of science fiction in education.
