 Cascaded-type microgrids are popular recently since it provides a simple and effective way for the high voltage level applications. The frequency regulation for cascaded-type plays an important role for guaranteeing power quality of the system. This paper proposes a decentralized second frequency control for cascaded-type microgrid without communication. This proposed method is capable to achieve frequency recovery under both resistive-inductive and resistive-capacitive load. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is verified by simulation results.
