The Ecosystem Change and Population Health Symposium (ECAPH) will be held on 14 – 15 June 2021 at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. More than 20 internationally well-known speakers will give presentations at the symposium. These include not only scientists from prestigious universities such as Harvard University, University of Oxford and Washington University, but also officials from major international stakeholders such as the World Health Organization, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Queensland Health, Australia.
The objective of the symposium is to gather scientists working in the field of Ecosystem Change, Population Health and Early Warning. It provides a platform for exchanging points of view and experience and sharing research results through presentations.
The symposium will provide the opportunity for participants to connect and discuss leading issues related to identifying and tackling the current major threats to population health posed by today's rapid ecosystem, social and technology changes.
Through the symposium the scientists will better understand the complex ecology and the possible impacts of climate change and population health and to better develop early warning systems based on ecosystem change.
The themes of the symposium include:
Climate Change and Health;
Key Drivers of Population Health;
