Welcome to NSysS 2018
International Conference on Networking, Systems and Security (NSysS 2018) aims at providing a forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, and users from academia, industry, and government to interact, present and exchange new research ideas and results. Its scope includes recent advances in both theoretical and experimental research addressing the rich space of computer networks, networking systems, and security across academia and industry. NSysS 2018 will be held during December 18-20, 2018 in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This conference is technically co-sponsored by ACM Chapter and IEEE Bangladesh Section. It is the 5th event of this conference series.
We solicit original technical papers articulating novel ideas, protocols, and algorithms with ground-breaking results and/or quantified experiences involving networking systems and security. The conference values papers, which will take a broad networking and/or security perspective(s) covering contemporary and future applications. Of particular interest are technical contributions that enable new and compelling networking and security paradigms. The papers will be peer-reviewed and will be indexed by DBLP.

Topics of interest are (but not limited to):
This conference is included in the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP). IEEE has a long-standing commitment to ensuring the high quality of its conferences and of the conference proceedings published in IEEE Xplore. Therefore, IEEE reserves the right to withhold publishing of proceedings that do not meet the IEEE quality standards. IEEE makes every reasonable attempt to ensure that abstract and index entries of content accepted into the CPP are included in databases provided by independent abstracting and indexing (A&I) services. Each A&I partner makes its own editorial decision on what content it will index. IEEE cannot guarantee entries are included in any particular database.
Author Instructions for Full Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit papers describing original research of theoretical or practical significance to Network Systems and Security. Submitted papers must describe work not previously published. They must not be submitted simultaneously to another conference with refereed proceedings or to a journal. Papers should not exceed 9 pages in IEEE style. Please find the template of IEEE style here. Only electronic submissions will be allowed. All papers submitted to NSysS 2018 need to be double-blind, i.e., no author name should appear in the submitted papers.
Author Instructions for Short Paper Submission for Poster & Demo Session
The program committee of NSysS 2018 cordially invites you to participate in poster and demo sessions and to showcase your current research, ongoing projects, etc., related to the conference theme and scope. Selected posters will be invited for displaying in printed portrait or landscape A0 size papers during the conference. On the other hand, selected demos, which may be a software or hardware implementation of your project/research, will be invited for displaying during the conference. Video demonstrations of the selected demos are allowed.
Prospective participants are requested to submit 6-page short papers of their projects/demos by August 31, 2018. Submitted short papers will be reviewed by the technical committee, and upon acceptance, the short papers will appear in the conference proceedings. Note that, this conference is included in the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP). Please find templates for the short papers here.
While submitting your short paper in the system, you need to put your paper title in the system with a prefix "Short Paper:" (only in the system, not in the submitted manuscript). If you do not put this prefix, your paper will be reviewed as a Full Paper. Besides, all short papers submitted to NSysS 2018 need to be double-blind, i.e., no author name should appear in the submitted short papers.
